On June 17, forty-four matches (Big and Little pairs) will be graduating from the Big Brothers Big Sisters program during our annual Celebrate Mentoring graduation event presented by Taco Bell. Additionally, an individual from the community who has demonstrated a passion for mentoring and a commitment to making mentoring an integral part of their life will be honored with the Community Mentor Award. Celebrate Mentoring highlights the impact of mentoring relationships in our community and allows us to celebrate the achievements and dedication of our volunteers and youth. Our generous corporate sponsors make this event possible year after year and we are grateful for their support. NextGear Capital is a Community Impact event sponsor this year and John Wick, Chief Strategy Officer & General Counsel for NextGear Capital and BBBSCI Board Member, shares what it means for NextGear Capital to partner with Big Brother Big Sisters of Central Indiana.
The Celebrate Mentoring graduation event highlights the difference a positive relationship can have on a child and we are proud to celebrate the 44 Big and Little matches graduating from the program this year.
At NextGear Capital, we believe that today’s youth are tomorrow’s leaders. Our partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana allows us to be actively involved in helping the youth in our community build toward their future while developing positive, nurturing relationships.
By being involved with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana, you are helping make a positive impact on children in Central Indiana and helping future generations have the opportunity to experience success in life.
