The Indianapolis Business Journal (IBJ) recognizes Darcey Palmer-Shultz as a leader in the Indianapolis community in 2012.  The Forty Under 40 Award honors forty leaders under 40 years old who have acheived success in their chosen field early in their careers.

Cummins Inc. makes a $110,000 grant to BBBSCI to support the implementation of program improvements aimed at increasing the length of mentoring relationships. 

BBBSCI’s long time partnership with the John H. Boner Community Center and the Near Eastside community has resulted in the agency’s selection as one of 12 program partners to be part of the new Chase Near Eastside Legacy Center and NFL Youth Education Town, part of the legacy the 2012 Super Bowl will leave behind in Indianapolis.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana recently received $250,000 from The Glick Fund at Central Indiana Community Foundation to support mentoring programs and improve match retention. This gift was one of the largest awarded by The Glick Fund.
