Our partners make it possible

Start something in your communityLooking for a way for your company or organization to start something in your community? Become a community partner.

Community Partners

Do your community a service. Start a community partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters. In making an impact on area kids, community partners make an impact close to home. Plus, they can build member teamwork and loyalty in the process.

You can become a Community Partner in different ways:

  • Program Activities Partners - companies and/or agencies partner with us to provide educational, cultural or entertainment benefits for our matches.  Some examples of this type of partner are: Booth Tarkington Civic Theatre, Boys and Girls Clubs, Climb Time Indy, Incredible Pizza Co., and Indianapolis Zoo.  To find out more about becoming a Program Activities Partner and to donate tickets for events please contact Suzanne Lentz Program Partners and Activities Coordinator at 317.472.3709
  • Recruitment/Volunteer Engagement Partners - Companies know it is good to give back to the community and want to provide a way for their employees to give back as well. Big Brothers Big Sisters works with your company to get information in the hands of your employees via lunch & learn opportunites, recruitment fairs and corporate service projects.  To find out more about becoming a Recruitment/Volunteer Engagement Partner please contact Laura Halt Director, Volunteer Engagement & Training at 317.472.3730

Big Brothers Big Sisters will work your organization to determine what the best fit is all of us.

Thanks to Our Partners

Because of you, thousands of kids across the country have a renewed outlook on life and the potential to achieve their dreams. So, thank you:

Wheel Fun Rentals offer Bigs free rental of bikes, surreys, kayaks, and paddleboats.  Bigs must show their ID badge and must be with his/her Little. Bigs must rent the equipment before noon on Saturdays (they open at 10 am), or anytime during a weekdayThere is no free rental after noon on Saturday. (Right now they are only open Fridays and Saturdays, and starting in May they will be open every day.) Wheel Fun Rentals will allow free rentals as long as they have enough equipment in stock, so if they only have one surrey left to rent out, they will not offer this surrey out for Bigs to have free.  This partnership is good for their Canal location and the White River St. Park location.  It is NOT accepted at Eagle Creek location.
