Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana is pleased to announce next year’s Gourmet Dinner Keynote Speaker: John Feinstein. Feinstein is a sportswriter, author and sports commentator. He has authored 27 books, including the top two best-selling non-fiction sports books in history, A Good Walk Spoiled, about a year inside life on the PGA Tour as told through the stories of seventeen players and A Season on the Brink, which chronicles a year in the life of the Indiana University basketball team and its enigmatic coach, Bob Knight.
In addition to continuing his career as a best-selling author, Feinstein also appears regularly as an on-air contributor for the Golf Channel, he works as a sports columnist with The Washington Post and he writes for Golf Digest. Feinstein is a graduate of Duke University. He resides in Potomac, Maryland and Shelter Island, New York with his wife and three children

Gourmet Dinner 2011: Phil Simms
 For nearly four decades, the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana Gourmet Dinner has captivated the crowd with a sports-themed event, featuring a famed sports speaker, an incredible gourmet meal and fantastic prizes. This year is no different! All-Pro Quarterback, two-time Super Bowl Champion, Super Bowl MVP, and two-time Pro Bowl player, Phil Simms, joined us for a remarkable evening.
Simms set the record for highest completion percentage in a Super Bowl (XXI) and gave the Giants franchise their first Super Bowl title. In 1999, Simms introduced the “Phil Simms All-Iron Team” which honors top NFL players and coaches. He is the author of The New York Times Best Seller, Sunday Morning Quarterback: Going Deep on the Strategies, Myths
and Mayhem of Football.
Today, Simms is one of the top football analysts and a member of the CBS lead broadcast team for the Network’s coverage of the NFL. He is the father of Chris Simms, quarterback for the Tennessee Titans and Matt Simms, quarterback for the University of Tennessee.
