National Mentoring Month: January
National Mentoring Month is a time to reflect on the tremendous impact mentors have on the lives of our nation's youth every day. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana has several local events and activities planned to celebrate our mentors and partners in the month of January!
Starbucks Big Appreciation Days
 Starbucks is partnering with Big Brothers Big Sisters agencies across Indiana, including Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana, for Big Appreciation Days! Starbucks is offering all active Bigs a free, tall (12 fl. oz.) beverage of their choice each Friday in January (6, 13, 20, and 27). Bigs must present their BBBSCI volunteer identification cards in store! Click here for a list of participating stores.
Wear Your Pride on the Outside
In celebration of National Mentoring Month, Bigs can wear their Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana t-shirts on Saturday, January 7th and Saturday, January 14th and raise awareness of mentoring. Take a picture of yourself wearing your t-shirt and post it on our Facebook page to be eligible for big prizes!
Take Your Little to Work Day
"Take Your Little to Work Day" is Friday, January 13th! To receive additional information, please contact Laura Halt via email or at 317.472.3730. The deadline to register is January 6th, 2012.
Harlem Globetrotters
Bigs will receive a $7.00 discount towards tickets to the Harlem Globetrotters game on Monday, January 16th at the Banker's Life Fieldhouse! This event is open to all current Bigs and Littles. Please contact Paul Marranca at 800.641.4667 (HOOP) x152 and mention Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana to receive your discount!
Skateland Party
On Tuesday, January 17th, Skateland Indy will host a party for Bigs and Littles from 6-8 p.m! Admission is $8 per person and includes skates, unlimited pizza and drinks. Call your Match Support Specialist to reserve a spot or send us an email!

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana is honoring agency partners, board members, volunteers and staff on our Facebook page each day in January!
