SIT (formerly School of International Training) Study Abroad Scholarships and Grants: Deadline May 15, 2012

Each year, SIT awards approximately $750,000 in scholarships and grants to SIT Study Abroad students. More than 80% of students who complete the scholarship application process receive an SIT scholarship or grant. It is our goal to make study abroad opportunities affordable for a diverse group of students from colleges and universities across the US. The Ayn Rand Institute sponsors annual essay contests that offer 680 prizes and over $99,000 in prize money every year. 2012 CSO Opportunity Scholarship: Deadline May 25, 2012

2012 Collegiate Inventors Competition: Deadline June 15, 2012

You've invented something that has a good chance of impacting the world. We have a 21 year history of honoring inventions like yours through the Collegiate Inventors Competition program. So why not see if your idea is up to the challenge. If your invention is chosen among the best, we will bring you to the U.S. Department of Commerce in Washington to present your idea to a panel of some of the most important and influential inventors and invention experts in the nation. Last year's judging panels included National Inventors Hall of Fame Inductees Jim West, Don Keck, Ted Hoff, Morton Mower, Al Langer, and Tom Fogarty. You'll also meet other top young inventors from around the country, have your idea showcased on a national stage, and compete for over $100,000 in prizes including a $15,000 top prize for Graduate students and $12,500 for Undergraduate students. 2012-2013 Xerox Technical Minority Scholarship: Deadline: September 30, 2012

Xerox is committed to the academic success of all minority students. That’s why we offer a Technical Minority Scholarship that awards between $1,000 and $10,000 to qualified minorities enrolled in a technical degree program at the bachelor level or above.
