CELEBRATING BIG FUTURES AND THE CLASS OF 2020
Big Brothers Big Sisters is so proud to present our 2020 Graduating Class and to feature them here on this page. We are so thankful to our sponsors and donors who make our Big Futures programming possible and have a hand in supporting these matches. In most years, BBBSCI gathers for a formal celebration to commemorate this milestone. We are disappointed that we are not able to do that at this time, but we are determined to shine a spotlight on our amazing young people and volunteers. In addition to this page, each graduating match will be receiving a special “Graduation Gift Box” in the mail and a catered lunch from the Illinois Street Food Emporium that the matches can enjoy together as a celebratory picnic lunch. Please share notes of congratulations and encouragement to our grads on social media by using the #BBBSGrads2020.
BIG FUTURES CAREER & COLLEGE READINESS PRESENTED BY IPL
The Big Futures program provides programming and resources for high school-aged Littles that prepare them for their next steps after graduation from high school. When Littles enter high school, we work with community partners to promote career and college readiness, as they explore post-graduation opportunities.
GRADUATE SPOTLIGHT
Little Brother Reis is the recipient of the 2020 Big Potential Award from Strada Education Network. The Big Potential Award is a multi-year scholarship that supports one Little through their college education and is awarded to a Little who has demonstrated academic achievement, leadership, character, and personal growth.
