What I love most about my job is having conversations with kids during their interviews. Kids are creative, blunt, and honest which makes their responses so heartfelt and even hilarious at times.
How has mentoring played a role in your life? I was mentored by someone throughout my entire high school years. This person helped me feel like I have a voice by listening to me as well as gave me wisdom when I needed it most. This person demonstrated the impact being present in someone’s life can have.
What is your favorite spot(s) in Indy? I genuinely love the State House; it is so pretty, and I feel like Leslie Knope when I am there. I also enjoy spending time on the Monon Trail whether that’s walking or biking.
