Where Do I Start?

Customize your fundraising page via the link sent in your registration email! We want to hear all about you and your Little and the amazing relationship you two have made. Share why you decided to become a Big and why BBBSCI’s mission speaks to you.

Keep it personal, genuine, and inspiring!

Who Should I Ask?

Whether it’s posting on social media for all your loved ones to see, texting it to a friend, or emailing your coworkers – share your page however you want and with whomever you know that might support our cause. The more people who see your page, the better!

Access Our Social Media Toolkit

Stay tuned! We’re working on creating a library of graphics and pre-written captions to help you spread the word across social media about your fundraising goal. Once it’s ready, you can access it here.

How Do I Ask?

We know that asking for donations can seem daunting, but it’s not as scary as it can seem. We believe in you!

01

STEP 1: GIVE CONTEXT

Let them know that you are fundraising, who BBBSCI is, and why we need their support!
For example: “Hello! I hope you have been doing well. I wanted to reach out to ask for your help! I’m currently fundraising to support Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana. As a Big myself, I’ve seen firsthand what amazing things young people can achieve when we help defend and ignite their potential.
02

STEP 2: MAKE THE ASK

Kindly ask them if they would like to make a donation!
For example: “Any donation, big or small would mean the world to me. If would like to help please check out my fundraising page at this link!”
03

STEP 3: END ON A GENUINE NOTE

Whether or not they make a donation, make sure to give them a BIG, genuine thank you.
For example, “Thank you so much for your time, I appreciate you so much! Thank you for being in my life. 💖
