Match: Little – Jerome Big – Ryan Woo

Little Brother Jerome and Big Brother Ryan Woo have been matched together for 5 years. Jerome will be graduating from Lawrence Central High School in June 2023. Come Fall Jerome will be attending Marian University to study Business.

During their time in the BBBSCI (Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana) program Little Brother Jerome and Big Brother Ryan enjoyed cooking, watching tv shows, playing sports (football, basketball, baseball, etc.), Pacer games, and attending our agency sponsored event Big Futures Etiquette Dinner. Jerome shared that he has learned many different things about the Chinese and Asian culture in general. He also shared the most he has gotten out of his relationship with Ryan is knowledge and someone he can relate to. Ryan shared that Jerome taught him to always persevere and get the job done. He looks forward to their last year watching Jerome play varsity lacrosse and help him get ready for college.

Ryan said if he could share one thing with Jerome about his impact on his life he would say, "My sister and I are best friends, and we were really close growing up. We would play golf and video games together, watch TV shows together and study for school together. Melissa, my sister, is four years older than I am, and she inspired me to want to have a younger "sibling" of my own. Jerome has been a perfect match, and its bittersweet to him to graduate from the BBBSCI program. I know we will always stay in touch." The BBBSCI Family will be rooting for both Jerome and Ryan after graduating from the program. We wish you both the best of luck!
