Match: Little Sister Ashlee and Big Sister Carolyn Born

Little Sister Ashlee and Big Sister Carolyn Born have been matched together for 9 years. Ashlee will be graduating from Pike High School in the Spring. Ashlee is still considering her plans after graduation to focus on getting a trade and attending flight attendant school.
When reflecting on their time together in the program and how Little Sister Ashlee has grown over the past 9 years Carolyn shared, “When Ashlee and I were first matched, she was only 9. She was a little shy. Over the years we have gotten to know each other well and have a lot of fun stories and memories that we share/ Ashlee is no longer shy. It has been fun watching Ashlee mature and become the kind spirted person she is today.”
Ashlee and Carolyn have done a lot together over the years memories that stand out for them both are their car rides together catching up and discussing what is going on in their lives and with their families. They have memories of going to Studio Movie Grill and, looking for prom dresses for Ashlee’s senior prom. In addition to these special memories Ashlee and Carolyn have enjoyed many of the BBBSCI agency sponsored match events and other outings.
Carolyn has one message that she would like to leave for Ashlee, “Be proud of your accomplishments and know that your kindness and hard work will take you far!” The BBBSCI family and Carolyn will be rooting for Ashlee as she heads into this next chapter of her life.

Match: Little Brother Ringo and Big Brother Jason Henney
Match Date: August 5, 2011
High School: Pike High School
Little Brother Ringo and Big Brother Jason Henney have been matched together for 11 years. Ringo will be graduating from Pike High School in the Spring. Ringo is still considering his plans after graduation.
This matched has enjoyed these past 11 years being matched together. They have a fun time with one another doing fun activities and spending time with one another building their relationship. They enjoy going to the gym with one another being able to play board games and video games as well. A memorable moment for this match would be the times they played basketball with each other and going on bike rides together. During the course of this match they have enjoyed being able to spend time together, and talking to each other catching up whether it is through text or in person.
The BBBSCI family and Jason will be rooting for Ringo in his next chapter after graduation.

Little Sister Rionna and Big Sister Reshina Powell have been matched together for 3 years. Rionna will be graduating from Pike High School in the Spring. Come the Fall, Rionna will be attending Indiana-University Purdue-University of Indianapolis (IUPUI) to study Anthropology. Rionna is also the scholarship recipient of the Mr. & Mrs. Maurice Frank Scholarship Fund.
When reflecting on their time together in the program and how Little Sister Rionna has grown over the past years Reshina shared, “My Relationship with Rionna has grown. We have been able to open up and communicate likes and dislikes, talk about the future and share about special moments as she moves toward graduation.”
Rionna and Reshina have done a lot together over the years memories that stand out for them both was being able to enjoy different Pacer games. Another great memory for them both was visiting Newfield's Museum and seeing the Van Gogh art exhibit.
Reshina has one message that she would like to leave for Rionna, “Spread your wings and fly. Do not be afraid to live “outside the box.” There are no limits on success.” The BBBSCI family and Reshina will be rooting for Rionna as she heads into this next chapter of her life at IUPUI.
