Open House Celebrates BBBSCI’s 15th Anniversary

Over the past 15 years, BBBSCI is proud to have provided 9,609 mentoring relationships to girls and boys in our community! During National Mentoring Month this January, we’re celebrating our past and looking ahead to the future. Thank you to the many Bigs and supporters who make our mission possible for so many local girls and boys.

On January 26, we hosted an Open House at our offices to commemorate the merger of Big Brothers of Greater Indianapolis (BBGI) with Big Sisters of Central Indiana (BSCI) to form BBBSCI. We were honored by the many guests who stopped by to commemorate our time in the community, including former Board of Directors Presidents, Board members, staff, alumni Bigs and Littles, and long time donors.

We were especially excited for our guests to take a walk through the Interactive Museum, which displayed media clippings, photo albums, pictures, event programs, and BBBSCI memorabilia throughout the years. Additionally, guests had fun reflecting on their favorite moments and were able to write them on the various timelines.

It was a wonderful evening celebrating our mission, reflecting on our past, and reconnecting with all of our supporters. Thank you to everyone who helped us celebrate! We’re looking forward to another amazing 15 years!
