On May 2, we wrap up our third annual 100 Men in 50 Days volunteer recruitment campaign ! This year, with 400 boys currently waiting for a mentor in Central Indiana, we tried something new. We teamed up with our friends and long-time community partner, the Indianapolis Indians to find 100 Big Brothers, Big Friends, and Big Couples in Marion, Hamilton, and Johnson Counties. The Indians, along with other local sports teams and community partners, are offering exclusive perks to men who take the first steps to becoming a Big, and are matched as a result of the campaign. And, there’s still time to sign up! You don’t need any special skills – just a desire to make a difference in a child’s life and four to six hours to spare each month.
