My favorite memory from working at BBBSCI is … our annual tradition of our event out at Hidden River Farms. This day is full of the outdoors—fishing, nature, paddle boats, hayrides and more. My favorite part is driving matches around on the golf carts all day!
What I love most about my job is … being able to see the impact of BBBS in person so often! I love crafting memorable moments for our Bigs and Littles through events and partnerships. It’s beyond rewarding to see smiles on kids’ faces.
How has mentoring played a role in your life? Everyone agrees, we wouldn’t be where we are without the mentors in our lives—it’s so true for me. However, I wish I could go back in time and ask my mom to get me a Big Sister through BBBSCI. There’s something truly unique and special about our mentoring pairs and I wish I had that growing up!
When I’m not at work, you can find me … Adding pieces to my many toy collections like Care Bears and Barbies. Planning my next trip to Disney World. Taking a million selfies of me and my dog, Winne #winnieluvs
What is your favorite spot(s) in Indy? One of my most favorite places to be in Indy is the Garfield Park Conservatory & Sunken Garden. If you haven’t been, you definitely need to stop by this hidden gem in Indy—it’s so relaxing and just good for the soul. Insider tip: visiting in winter is especially nice because it’s so warm and toasty inside the conservatory!
