BBBSCI’s annual Career Exploration is back for 2026! Littles in grades 6-12 are welcome to join.

This interactive morning is designed to help Big Futures Littles (middle/high school) explore what’s possible in a few years. From college and the trades to entrepreneurship and the workforce, Littles will get real exposure to different career paths in a fun, welcoming environment.

Littles will hear directly from professionals, learn about a variety of industries, and practice talking with adults about careers and future goals in a low pressure setting that builds confidence and curiosity.

What Littles Can Expect

• A chance to win one of FIVE laptops that will be given out!
• A panel of professionals sharing real career journeys and advice
• A hands-on career fair with local businesses and organizations
• Interactive tables that encourage conversation and exploration
• Career Connection Cards That tabling organizations will mark as Littles visit each table

Littles who visit every table and have their Career Connection Card fully marked will be entered into the laptop giveaway, making it worth stopping, talking, and engaging at each organization. More connections means more chances to walk away with a laptop.

Event flow for the morning:
• 9:00–9:30 AM Grab and go breakfast, check in, and find seats
• 9:30–10:45 AM Welcome, remarks, and panel discussion
• 11:00 AM–12:00 PM Career fair and tabling experience

Bigs are encouraged to attend with their Littles. If a Big is unavailable, a parent or caregiver may attend in their place.

This event is perfect for Littles who are just beginning to think about their future or who already have big ideas and want help discovering their next steps.
