While reciting famous quotes of Martin Luther King with Bigs and Littles Arts for Learning Teaching Artists Portia Jackson, Carole Tharp-Perrin and Larry Gindhart will encourage participants to practice centering and relaxation breathing while combining positive mindfulness during their challenges of acceptance, justice and equality. The signs of strife and discontentment are present in our youth daily lives. Jalynn Simmons will close out the program engaging students to discover their own rhythm through evidence based active engagement in hand drumming and recreational music making.
Light snacks and drinks will be provided.
