Matches will participate in a variety of hands-on activities that directly support FIDO’s pet food pantry and outreach programs. Tasks will vary based on organizational needs and may include:

🐾 What Matches Will Help With

• Sorting and packaging dog and cat food
• Preparing flea treatment doses for dogs and cats
• Bagging straw for community distribution
• Sorting and bagging treats and canned food
• Folding brochures and assembling door hangers
• Breaking down wire crates and assisting with basic fence repairs (for handy Matches)

👕 What to Wear & Bring

• Dress in layers (warehouse space is partially temperature controlled)
• Long pants and closed-toed shoes are required
• Wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty or stained
• Work gloves are recommended
• Bring a water bottle

ℹ️ Good to Know

• The warehouse can be dusty and has free-roaming cats
• Matches with allergies should plan accordingly with medication or consider bringing a mask
• All Matches must complete a waiver prior to participating
• Matches under 18 must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian
