What is the Little Impacts Program?
The BBBSCI Little Impacts program provides a year-long series of outcome oriented programming based on the Thrive Foundation for Youth’s 12 Thriving Indicators. We know that Little Impacts along the way lead to Big Futures!
The activities in the Little Impacts Program allow matches to easily participate in activities that will contribute to the positive development of the Little. Activities include Nature Scavenger Hunts, Cooking Classes, Game Night, 21st Century Scholars Info and Sign-Up event, and more!
The Science Behind the Fun
Behind every engaging activity for Bigs and Littles is the science of 12 Thriving Indicators, or skills, attitudes, and behaviors necessary for kids to reach their full potential. Every match activity hosted or facilitated by our agency intentionally focuses on one or more Thriving Indicators.
Activities and events are stored in The Big App, the first mobile application for Big Brothers Big Sisters created by our agency and accessible by Bigs and parents/caregivers. Click below to learn more about The Big App!
